“Angry People comes from my interest on the idea of the scream, which is a recurrent topic in my work and is constantly and unconsciously appearing since my first works. The scream is a desperate request of liberation, a symbol of protest and anger. The idea also stemmed from what I have seen in recent social movements around the world, with people everywhere marching, rising up, fighting for rights, shouting and screaming. I wanted to start this collaborative project, in which people sent a picture of them showing anger. I made an illustration and sent them the piece in high resolution to print it out if they want. It is still an open and ongoing project.”  – A.T.H.
